Glad to see you around. I was just thinking about you the other day, wondering if you'd decided to take a hiatus deliberately or what.
Sorry to hear that you've been dealing with a difficult situation and person. I hope that, if it isn't already resolved, it is resolved soon and happily.
I look forward to seeing this one. I hope that you are well.
I have to say it's very valid to avoid violence, and replace it with dealing with challenges, social interaction, or overcoming natural obstacles. It's not that common in D&D, but more so in some SF games like Traveller and a lot of the FATE settings. Very sorry you have been having a bad time.
Thanks, Tom. Sometimes life gets at you like a...like a hill giant on steroids. I think you are on to something with exploring other systems for a non-violent approach. I will definitely take a look. :)
Wonderful that you're writing again. It's such a great thing. Super happy for you. Tim waves high from across the table. We're at Coffee Culture because Barnes was PACKED!

Thanks, man. Onward and upward and all that. :) I look forward to getting back on a more regular scribbling schedule.

ReplyDeleteI hope you, Tim and the doggies are doing great. :)
DeleteSorry to hear about the troubles, my friend. Glad to know you're doing better.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say -- at this late date -- you haven't used any shade of orange since issue #2. LOL
Later!
Oh my gosh that is so funny! Where's the orange!?
DeleteIssue #2, "The Petrified Giant." A lioght orange.
ReplyDeleteIssue #3, "The Skin Lab," was a darker orange.
Issue #5, "Denizen of Pandemonium," was red.
There are a couple of purples, blues, greens and a cross between those.
Good news! I just found some orange in the supply closet at woork. Eoot!
DeleteI'm watching now! LOL
